Here be pictures

No, not like Sandy Koufax. Anyway, I've often wondered what the secret to being a good photographer was. Now I think I know: it's taking a bazillion million trillion pictures and only showing people the two that turn out. Unfortunately for your eyes, I'm not a good photographer--so you get all of 'em.

In the long ago sad time, I took pictures with a Toshiba 2MP digital camerathingy I know not what now. In the early summer of 2005, I picked up a Pentax *istDS (yes, the asterisk is part of it. No, I don't know why). By now I've added a 70-300 telephoto zoom, a 2x teleextender, a cable switch (for when I don't want to jostle the camera with my clutching, troll-like claws), and an external flash. I'm coming to like the results. Enough, at least, to force them on you suckers.

Note, just in case you were curious, that the pictures are ordered by the date they were added to the site, not by the listed date, which is when the pictures were taken in the first place. In case you thought I'd gone all loony on you.
