Collies purchase lunch
Yes we koan

It came to be that Osaki, who was young and still learning, moved to be closer to the Pacific Ocean. He joined a monastery in the center of the small town of San Francisco, which was held far and wide to have undeniable appeal. Osaki wished to understand the village, and so he went to an older monk at the monastery, who had also travelled far and knew much of the world.

"Master, what is the meaning of San Francisco?"

"Come with me," was the reply to Osaki, "and have lunch".

"What is it that lunch has to do with San Francisco?" asked Osaki, but the wise monk only gave a shake of the head and silence as an answer. So Osaki went to the village market, which offered food, thinking perhaps it was that it was intended for him to discuss the matter over a repast, or that the culinary delights of the town were its most valuable commodity.

So he procured a cup of soup, and a sandwich, and went to the merchant owner of the market. "I sought the meaning of San Francisco," pondered Osaki aloud. "But here I have only a cup of lentils, and a spartan roast-beef sandwich."

"That will be $12.62," said the merchant.

At that moment, Osaki attained enlightenment.
